Roy you can not buy a kit to make it into a friction stabiliser.

You have to replace the whole lot with this

AKS3004 Stabiliser Triple Pack
AKS243
Our Price £257.50

You will need the Alko tow ball as well if you have abolt on ball (about£20)

We have the 1300. The fancy ones are newer models. They all fit in the same way. You cannot convert the ordinary hitch to a stabiliser.

To get the picture to show you find a picture on a website (Towsure!) and left click on the mouse holding the mouse key down.

Move the mouse over the picture/text until it turns blue.

Right click on it and left click on copy

Then go to where you want the picture and left click followed by right click on the page.

You will get a menu and select paste.

Hope that helps --if I've got it wrong someone will come to the rescue.

Its useful too for copying website addresses

With thanks to Michael who told me
