If you were to buy a roof box then what would you buy i;m after around a 415 litre in size but don't want to go silly, I have been offered an Autoplas one fairly cheaply, anyone any experience of these?

I also need to get bars for the car to, and again not sure if there is a difference in these, so any advice wpuld be appreciated.

I have just ordered from http://www.roofrackshop.com/ who were also cheeap and very helpful on the phone. Their prices include delivery IIRC.

I have also had good experiences with The Roof Box Company above.

For me, roofbox and bars would always be Thule. I've had them for years and only need to swap certain parts when I change cars as they remain compatible over a number of years product ranges. Their quality is also very good.

what about this handy number found by another member ......... it even comes with a small wid deflecter to make it more aerodynamic

However always try and try to be selective with what you take as the last time with us things got totally out of control

It's worth looking in halfords if there is one near you. They are not necessarily the cheapest but they have bars and roof boxes you can look at to get an idea of sizes etc.
