This question will probably sound really silly to all you expert campers,  but we really need to know if you can buy fleece sleeping bag liners with zips for rectangular bags?

Thanks

Karen & Lewis

Yes every year apparently aldi or lidl do them for about a fiver each and they are great they unzip completely so you have a blanket as well. They also have their own bag.

Just checked and we bought ours last June so they should have them soon. I havnt seen them yet in there adverts.

We have mummy bags but these work fine. If you dont want too much material inside a mummy bag put them on the outside that works too!

We also bought the silver backed picnic mats and put them between us and the airbed which keeps out the cold too.

   Hi, Karen & Lewis...

Yes, you can get rectangular liners, I have the "Coleman" cotton 'flannelette' ones (200cm.x 80cm.) for Spring & Autumn and ordinary white cotton ones for Summer use... I've also seen 'fleece' ones, at my local camping store "Camping & General" at Canvey Island in Essex... They do have a website (just tap in 'Camping & General' on Google) but the site doesn't list a quarter of the items they stock (don't ask me why!). You could ring them or send an Email to ask about availability. They do 'mail order' and their prices are very reasonable too...

Would that be Johnshaven on the coast north of Montrose?  You should have had your fleece PJ's on and bedsocks - I never camp without them

I've been down there but not stayed at the site - it's a nice location.  Invest in some fleece PJ's from Primark for around a fiver - they really do make a difference.  Also we take Ikea fleece blankets (they're really cheap too, about £3) and pile them on top.

You don't say what your outfit is, I take it its a tent?

Silly me, I must read thinkgs properly and stay off the red wine .  You were in a tent!

Have you looked at the advice for keeping out the "ground cold"?
