Hi

last year we bought a foam mattress which was about 2-3inch think and has egg-shell effect on one side - we put this on top of our airbed and it made it so comfy.

We had bought it from our local camp shop but he no longer stocks it.

Does anyone know anywhere that stocks them - the mice in the garage got to ours and they are so comfy we are desperate to get some more.

Thanks

I got mine from a foam supplier locally so it might be worth checking out the yellow pages

I still use some mattresses like these that my parents bought for camping about 40 years ago to use instead of camp beds that collapsed or blow up mattresses that sank in the night. Use them with the nobbly bit down tho' - so condensation not such a problem as air can circulate better.

Only downside is the room they take up in the car.
