My friend has got some sort of battery power pack thingy!!, u can plug small items into it, just two i think, and u just plug into cigarette lighter when it needs recharging.
Does anyone have a clue wot i'm talking about as i want one!!! LOL
Yes, Aldi/Lidl et al sell them at various times in the year, I have one of theirs (cost aroung £25) and one which came with a woolies electric blanket (cost me about £9) and they can often be used to jump start cars when their battery has run down. Should cost £35 max.
Very handy to have around at all times even if you only use it now and then. I don't go anywhere without mine, even if it only gets other peeps out of trouble.
Lots of places sell these power packs, there very handy for lighting and running dvd players and Lcd tv's.. they come in all shapes n sizes too.. Most have an internal 17.5 Ah battery inside. Other than using these i would recomend aLeisureBattery that are from 45Ah to 110Ah. You will need some way of connecting things to them.
eg; crocodile clips
or QuickReleaseBatteryTerminals then connect them by wire to Cigarette Socket Extensions etc
Portable power packs..
LeisureBatteries
Heres is one with an inverter working a lava lamp
I hope that helps you make your mind up, the leisure battery will last much longer as that have a lot more Ah capacity

Hiya MissyMoo, I bought mine out of Lidl's for £14.99. They haven't had them in for a while but I'm sure they will again soon. The only other place I've seen them sold at a reasonable price is on the Towsure website priced at £22.75 (inc Vat)
Well we ran a television and camping lantern and charged up a mobile phone when we went camping one weekend, we was able to recharge it whilst we where in the car.
