A cool box if poss a 12 volt one you can have in your car will keep milk and food safe and stop it going off during hot weather and even in not so hot weather it can be surprisingly warm in a tent. A lot of camp sites will freeze cool blocks for a small fee.

After taking my daughter camping many years ago aged about 12 months I would also suggest a travel cot/playpen. Crawlers and toddlers can move surprisingly fast out of a tent when they want to.

i think that there has been quite a few links on this subject before so it could be an idea to look up this subject in the search link.

We didn't have a lamp until this year either, just used torches but we splashed out on a rechargeable lantern which is excellent.
