Hi, sorry to post again - lots of questions!

is it worth getting a battery operated fan for camping in this stupidly hot heat?

Both my son and I suffer badly when its too hot at night ... or do they just drink the batteries faster than you can replace them?

Does anyone know of any that are good?

The ones with the foam type blades are useless.

I picked up one in a pound shop (99p actually) today with hard plastic blades.

Just tried it out and it seems to give a decent airflow. It's not exactly built to last though . Going to give it a try at the weekend.

Marks and Spencer do one for about £3 and are really powerful..Woolworths also do bright colourd ones for about£2 and they are quite good as well.

Worked okay for ten minutes then the bonding between the motor spindle and the fan blades failed and it stopped rotating
