Having recently purchased a Coleman Columbia tent we needed to buy cooker table etc..... we bought a Caming Gas Bistro for 9.99, tefal Boivac camping pans all from a local camping shop. But I need the camping Kitchen as I was not cooking on my hands and knees. We looked at several and read reviews on the one at Argos for 39.99 tthe one with the larder The Camping gas aerosol cans were 14.99 for 12.... I was a bit worried as the picture on the quick pay check out showed them as being made by HI-Gear not Campingas as per book and the kitchen may be substituted with another prduct.... Once home the cannisters were Campingas....a good buy..The kitchen was brilliant as I had an extra larder and table on the other side too, as well as a windsheild that fits on top. Thaks Argos
Cannisters aren't really that good a buy. Wilkinsons were selling them for 95p. Thats only £11.40 for 12. Other homeware shops (Eg B&M) were selling them in various packs working out approx £1 per can. Now when Argos have them in the sale........

------------- It'll work out in the end!!!!
I didn't do it !! Nobody saw me do it !! You can't prove anything !!
You need to learn to shop around outside the argos catalogue the same camping stand will cost you around £5-8 cheaper on most camping kit website., but spose with postage works about the same
It's doubtful if Hi-Gear actually make the cannisters anyway. Much of the camping equipment you see is, generally, manufactured by one or two companies and just "badged" by others.
I couldn't get one from Argos either but Towsure have them, I had to wait ages for them to get new stock though but that's another story. Towsure's aren't such a bargain- same price but with £4.95 postage.
As for shopping around to find it £5 to £8 cheaper kopte4ever, I don't think so. I tried every where and there aren't many like this one around anyway, they are either much bigger or without the larder, and much more expensive.
Oh and by the way, it is a really good camp kitchen, I love it!
the single one is £4 cheaper and the one with side shelf is £5 cheaper, sorry to dissapoint, argos a way too expensive on most camping items, even the campingaz stoves are bout £5-£10 mor expensive

£5.00 cheaper but postage is £4.95 if spending less than £300! Wow - you get to save 5p and have to wait in for a delivery truck that may arrive at some point (usually when I'm in the loo)!
Don't forget also that Argos have a 14 day money back guarantee and pretty good service - if you had to return it for any reason you have postage issues with the mailorder company.
I think its a good buy, and if you reckon its sturdy, I may get one myself - been looking for one for a few days.
If you have one near you 'the range' sell these portable camp kitchens with in built tables, slatted shelves & larder. We got ours from their for £35, carry bag included.
