Argos sell a universal underbed tent for about £25, I think. I`m unsure of the size, but given that I have both the old brown based universal Conway undertent and the newer grey based Conway one and they are totally different sizes anyway, I don`t think size is too critical. Basically it`s just a long thin cotton bag with a waterproof base and a few hanging loops anyway. There`s no fancy mounting system either. The hanging loops have hooks on the ends and these just hook anywhere convenient on the edges of the bedboards.

I got one of the Argos ones and it fitted my old Corniche without any problems. They are thin  white fabric with a zipped door on one end, a sewn in groundsheet which comes a little way up the sides and six pegging points. It also has six hooks on the top which clip onto the bedboard wherever you can fit them. Just a warning - it's worth pegging it down before you put the bed board in place, otherwise you'll be on your hands and knees in the wet grass to peg it in place.

I prefer to get the bedboard legs down first and securely positioned on their support plates before I put the inner in. Trick is to fold inner in half right side in  so you can kneel on the folded bit while you peg the far end , then unfold it as you crawl out. Peg the door end, then back in again to lift the loops up and catch the hooks into place. Otherwise you might end up dropping the bedboard leg ends onto the inner, which wouldn`t do it much good. And how would you adjust the legs?

Thanks for the advice all!   Never thought about the issue of getting the thing in place.  Not much fun being on yer knees in wet grass I suppose.

Resurrected thread, I can't find the underbed in Argos, or anywhere else for that matter! Drove into the city to look at a store, found one but it was £46 so I had to leave it.....

Only want a basic something to try our TT for the first time, at the moment it looks like daughter will be sleeping without one at the weekend!

Does anyone know of an online store that i can get a reasonable one for and get it delivered by friday??

Gone are the 'sleeping on the floor' times, I love my TT.

The Argos one was discontinued from the catalogue when the new catalogue came out in July.

If it makes you feel any better, it was total rubbish anyway! I did a little review of it here..

You can`t put her in the space under the bedboard without an undertent...she`ll freeze or drown or both!

One thing I have seen on Ebay auctions is people using an ordinary pup tent inner suspended under the bedboard with loops of what presumably was knicker elastic, slotted through the toggle loops of the inner. Underbed tents just catch onto the edges of the bed boards with wide plastic hooks, which are easily bought in camping shops, or there are enough poles around in a tt cabin to tie the elastic loops onto. Bit of a bodge job but worth a try anyway, if you have a pup tent inner around.
