Hi,

Usually go camping in our tent using a bog standard air bed and end up moaning about lack of sleep!

However this year am pregnant (currently 6 months) and know that I will not be able to get off floor of tent! So we have got a really old trailer tent which has wooden boards and no mattresses.

Have read various threads re beds but am confused as to what to get ie Coleman comfort, fat arric (not Eric as I keep calling it!) or Thermathingy.

Which would you recommend for a pregnant lady who has trouble sleeping at the best of times! OH can sleep on anything.

Cheers

a hammock? The rocking motion is very soothing.

If you want a mat, I'd go for one of the really thivk ones - 5 or 7 cm.

Thanks - I think that hammock may encourage the morning sickness!

If you contacted one of the companies that re-upholster old suites. They will be able to make you a matress for the TT.  Or just sell you a piece of good foam and you could make your own cover (Out of a bedspread perhaps)

We've just bought one of these full-height airbeds as we have tried all the top makes of standard airbed (including the coleman comfort) but always find my a$$ touching the floor the following morning (and I'm only 9.5 stone, I dread to think if I was heavier!)

Anyway, we got the full-height one, which has a built in electric pump - and it's HEAVENLY! If you haven't shopped with greatessentials before you also get a £15 discount!

Is this similar to Aerobed from Argos?

If you are a new customer you just open up a credit account and your £15 will be deducted off your order (I think once it's charged to your statement). You don't need a code.

The AEROBED in Argos is just normal airbed-height I think...correct me if I'm wrong, but the one from Greatessentials is like your normal double bed at home - we found it rather amusing the first time we used it, seems odd to 'climb' into bed when you're camping!

The other plus is the built-in electric pump - but that of course means you need electric hook-up to inflate it.

Hi, what is the height of the one from Great Universal.  Worried that will be touching the ceiling!

Cheers
