Wondered if anyone had come across a good portable heater with a GOOD cool blow facility?
Have just bought a ceramic heater with (supposed) cool blow, but it's rubbish ! Am thinking I will probably be better buying a seperate fan. Any suggestions would be appreciated, ta.
You're right, argos have sold out of every fan, and not a one to be seen in B&Q either. I'm in no hurry really, but wondered if there might be a heater combined with cool blow fan that anyone could recommend?
We bought a Challenge upright fan heater from Argos for just under a tenner earlier this year (dont know if they have any in stock now though). Slightly noisy but very effective, blows hot or cold with thermostat and two heat settings. We have used it both for heating our Folding Camper over the Spring Bank Holiday (actually heated the awning whilst entertaining 18 of my family). Then used it for cooling us down during 4 stunningly hot days we had two weeks ago in Wales. I was well impressed bearing in mind it cost me less that a tenner!

Yep we have the same little Challenge Fan Heater - best tenner (or actually, £8 - we ever spent!)

I've got the 9.99 challenger from Argos and it kept my HArtford XL toasty when we camped in the snow at easter. Not tried the cooler in the tent yet, but been using it at home!
