Hi has anyone got any ideas on the best double burner with grill stove? Ours needs updating before our 2 week hol to Devon/Cornwall - been looking at the Sunngas Deluxe but it doesn't look very compact ? also like one that comes in a storage bag?

At the mo we use Calor gas 7.5 litre vut have seen peeps with smaller canisters - withoutout seeming too silly is that butane? & does it last as long?

We got ours from Argos. Think it was about £49.99 and it is brilliant. Folds up into a flattish parcel.

The 'Sunncamp Deluxe' folds down, making it's own metal box, measuring about 24ins. x 12ins. x 8ins. (approx.)...
It does the job it's made for well enough, like many of the others...
I believe the 'Campingaz Chef' stove comes with it's own carry bag, which you can buy seperately for about £6 or £7, most 'double burner & grill' units will fit into the bag...

I wouldn't bother, we have a camping gaz one, used around 3 times. The burner's are ok but the grill is absolute pants!! Takes 20mins to make a slice of toast, don't seem to burn with enough vigour. We bought 2 x portable's instead as they seem to be more powerful.

The camping gaz thing is going down the carboot along with the 907 cylinder. How much do you think they'r worth?

Rings seemed to be fine but the grill just doesn't give out enough heat. Works fine, all flames lit & goes up & down when you turn the knob.

Were ehu now so we bought an electric toaster. Haven't used the double thing for a couple of years now, it's in it's box in the loft.

We have a campingaz double burner and grill and we think it is fab, the grill was fine on ours and you can use normal calor gas for it to.

We have the campingaz one too, got it off ebay brand new with bag for £27 and I admit the grill isnt the best in the world but its good for toast (a little too fast for me! Some scraping was done first time round lol)

We dont use the farty lil 907 bottle tho, we got a diff regulator and use a 4.5kg butane cylinder than was out of my portable gas heater. Seems to kick out a bit more than the tiddlers and doesnt run out after 5 mins YAY!
