As the gas bottles are rarely interchangeable,most bottled gas suppliers will give you a new regulator to fit the type of gas bottle they are selling. All you need do is swap it over on the rubber pipe. As for buying the gas, they are pretty much the same price wherever you go and you will need to buy the bottle in the first place, you only pay for the gas the next time.
