Hi

Going to dartmouth next month and we have a tent pitch with electric hook up,this is the firsttime that we have had electric at a site,so we were going to make one up our selfs with the blue three pin plug but was woundering what the normal length is?  

I would recommend that instead of making one yourself, that you order a proper one from one of the many websites that sell camping equipment.

Ensure you buy one with a circuit breaker also.

And as a precaution, dont buy one from ebay !!!! A lot of them tend to be unprofessionally made up EHUs.

But The  Class of Cable, Pin Plug Extension Unit and RCD by the times you buy put together you may as well pay the extra £15 or so you would have saved and bought a proper unit, dissagree with the ebay advice you will get a good bargain if you look, general rule being if its to cheap its not the right thing.

Your looking to spend around the £60 mark how ever Towsure were knocking them out at around £47 if there still on the site
