I stayed at Shell Island last weekend, had a fab time.  Binny, the loos were clean and the shop on site sold pretty much everything you'd need.

One word of advise, the site was full pretty much the whole weekend so you may be advised to check before you set off that you can still get on.  They won't let you reserve a pitch either, it's first come first served.

if you dont have e h u  try dyffryn holiday estate just up from barmouth in talybont they will have room. they are in the campsite search . give them a bell first. i would be surprised if they packed its a big site
