Just been in there today and picked up a brill gadget.

Obviously £1.00 - tiny speaker that plugs into your mp3 player. Just requires on AA battery.

Actually loud enough for a tent. Totally amazed. Listening to the doors as i type !!

They sound rather common, I will stick with my royal doulton thank you. One never knows when visitors may drop in at the tent for cup of earl grey and a cucumber sandwich.

Crystal jo, really helpful info, cos it's one of the few items we still need to aquire, but we don't have a poundland!!!!!!!!!

Was in Leeds last week and called in the pound shop in Cross Gates, got two waterproof picnic rugs for £2, some little reading lights and some Hot Chocolate and Coffee drinks that you just add water to, just waiting to go camping to use it all now.
