First Shell Island is full and now our trusty coleman petrol stove is broken.  It doesn't work at all. We've pumped it and truned the little red thing but it just won't light.  Any ideas - oh and you can't hear it hissing so something aint right :-(

Sounds like crap in the generator,take it apart & try blowing back through the nozzle,rinse in clean fuel,empty the tank,oil the plunger seal & try again with it empty to see if it pressurises first,if it does put fresh fuel in.Hope this works.

You can get spares off ebay quite cheaply or I got a whole new generator, control knob etc for my Coleman 424 from these guys, they were very helpful www.base-camp.co.uk
