Even back then the Forest of Dean wasn't in Wales! and the Monmouthshire boozers used to come to a "Wet" Forest of Dean on a Sunday.

I saw a photo of an all year round campsite in the lakes and there where tents pitched in the snow  it looked great but cold has anyone ever camped in snow.

Monmouth definitely in Wales. The England sign is a few miles down the road.

Abergwyngregin in the north of snowdonia has some of the warmest january days in wales.  This is due to an effect which is called Fohn in the alps.
