Hi Guys,
I was after a cheap BBQ for the last camping trip of the year and read in another post about some getting a £5 BBQ from woolies, Thanks Matthewsmum :), thinking it would be a cheap and nasty one or a large disposable one I popped in today to see for myself...
Its brill, well worth a fiver, considering thats about the cost of 3 disposables.
I took some pics off the box as this illustrates it better than I can, and its for sale on the website
Our local woolies have electric cool boxes (12v socket only) for £20. They say you can run of mains with an adapter - anybody know what kind and how much. I have a Woolies power pack (came with electirc blanket last year) was wondering if I could run it of this whilst having this plugged into EHU

------------- It'll work out in the end!!!!
I didn't do it !! Nobody saw me do it !! You can't prove anything !!
Just got one myselft today, from Wellingborough Woolies. Still had some left, so hurry if your local. I put it together quite easily too. When its erected, the warming grill folds down automatically when you shut the lid. The legs are on springs, and can be folded to pack away. Very good value for money. Shall be trying it out next weekend on my camping trip!

Just got one at my local Woolies. They were not advertising the discounted price. There were a couple as you went in by the checkout with the £14.99 label on them. That's probably why there were still there. Came up on the till as £5. Bargain.
Well chuffed. Have opened it and it's much better than I thought too. Thanks for this thread.
husband put it together easy enough looks good and loads of room on it for the burgers and sausages cant wait to try it out next week of to criccieth for the week hope the weathers good or the husband will be under the umbrella doing the barbie
Thanks for info just rushed out and bought one. Cant believe it was only 5 pounds. Thanks for the info.
About the question on the coolbox we also bought one of these and the adapters are at the side of them in our store. They have a cigarette lighter attachment on one side to plug into the coolbox so if it doesnt on the one for your electric blanket it wont work. It cost about 12 pounds from what I remember.
Just returned from our weekend on Anglesey and used the BBQ twice and its was super, just stuck one of those self lighting bags in and off you go.
Cooked absolutely wonderfully for us, even managed to transport it home with te remailns of the charcoal and ashes intact, so I can retive the unburnt coal.
