Can anyone tell me what they are and where you can buy them!?
Whilst away last week, we saw a lot of these things at the front of several tents and caravans. Each one looked like they were attached to a long fishing rod and they looked like they were made out of the same material as a kite. Lots of designs; fish, frog, twirly, even skull and crossbones! Thought they might have been so that if people had children they could easily see where their tent was pitched.
We took ours to an out door sounds of the seventies last week, its a hugh parrot with a panama hat loud shirt and flip flops, and we found him really useful (and fun) to find our way back and when it was dark we put flashing specs on him.

We aways fly our St Piran flag, black with a white cross. While away at the end of July I saw two boys looking at it, first boy said "Is that an England flag?" second boy " Yes I think so, they must be in mourning for not winning the world cup."
I have bought a few things from Sky blue, I ordered some new skull and crossbones wind sock on monday, they were here this morning .We had a good laugh in Devon the other week , We run a forum called VXPirates for Vauxhall enthiusts* familys of cause we fly skull & crossbones flags and windsocks. All we heard all week was kids playing pirates and even got asked if we were putting a show on , also were we into Voodoo lol... no thank you .
Have bought from him online, 1st class service, and if he aint got what you want he'll try and get it!!
Also bought from him in person when down in Newquay this year, called at his premises late on the Saturday evening and he sorted me out with a new pole there and then!!
I would like one of those pole things... but I'm not sure exactly what you need to get...the windsock/twister and the pole are obvious... but what else...
do you need to buy a clip too or does the windsock come with one, and how do you fix it to the ground?

You'll need a ground stake, can be bought or use an old windbreak pole. Pole will have an eye on the top and windsocks come with clips to attach
