anyone had a problem with their tomtom ? ...my one just went blank on screen one day and has never worked since tried resetting it by the little button but still no go any clues please?
The people pitched opposite on holiday used their sat nav in France while towing a caravan and it took them through a tunnel - it was touch and go as the sign actually said the height was 10cm lower than their caravan but they managed to squeeze through.
Their friends (also towing a caravan) were following driectly behind them with an identical caravan - and it was a main road - traffic was piled up behind them as they gingerly went through - they said they were really worried as they would have had no way of backing up without police intervention to move all the traffic.
The Sat Nav is only as good as the information which is installed. While towing I use the Lorry mode for our distance and road selection, never gone wrong until a jobsworth closed one end of a road and didn't tell the cartographers.....
