We bought a "big boy" folding chair from Asda.  It takes up to about 22 stone i think.  My hubby uses it all the time with no problems and if I remember rightly it was about a tenner.

we had a big boy lasted 3 days so far the  folding chair that has lasted the longest was a £4 tesco one

I seem to remember that they had some on the outdoor megastore site, but don't know if they're any good. sorry can't be of more help but they might be worth checking out

We changed to chairs like the  Outwell Club Chair Deluxe, Outdoormegastore has them. Never go back to those cheap fold up ones.  Confortable and well made.

Had Asda Big Boy.  Went back after just 1 usage.
