We have just got back from our first ever camping trip.  Two nights atTrencreek farm in Cornwall.  Two adults, three children and two dogs and we loved it.

In our 48 hour mini holiday we have experienced blue sky and sunshine, gale force winds and pouring rain, which was great as we had borrowed a hook up, fan heater, table and chairs which made the evenings more comfortable.

Now I want to start buying some equipment of our own.  We're on a budget with so many mouths to feed, does anyone know where I could start looking?

 we got the strongest biggest table ive seen for only £20 from a discount shop called home bargains, still havnt seen another fold up table to match it.

 i also shop at a wholesale warehouse called jtf, and they had some fantastic bargains , airbeds for next to nothing, fold up chairs tents etc etc. also towsure, for alsorts, we did a quick trip up the motorway from notts to sheffield and found it well worth a visit( cheap lunch in their cafe too , so can make a good day of it)

Check out charity shops and car boot sales, also lots of stuff in Pound shops.

We got a brand new campbed for £3 at a car boot in Helston last week, same ones are £12.99 in the shops.

Lots of dealers have sales on at the mo' - check their websites.

we started out with one of these for cooking, they cost about £12 now and they are great. ours still works, i use it at home now as i hate the electric hob! hope this helps you and your budget out

We got a brand new Gas heater at Car Boot sale other day £10 should have been £35

Someone had tried to use it bent a metal prong and assumed it didn't work

Took 2 seconds to mend

Knew there couldn't be alot wrong with it
