Hi Guys

Just a quickie. I've been hearing about a big, new camping warehouse which has openend in Stockport & I'm assuming it's Go Outdoors. But I'm having a trip out tomorrow & didn't want to find out there was actually ANOTHER big camping warehouse that I'd missed!!!

Decathlon also do some camping and walking gear, but cover all sortds of sporting equipment as well. It worth a look if your in the area. Just off the roundabout at J1 M60.

If there is another big place, it's new and its done well to stay under my radar! I worked in Stockport for several years until recently, and I still go back every so often. I'm almost certain that if there was something, I'd know about it.

Went to Go Outdoors tonight, what a nightmare.  Its not to far from where I live but there was an "incident" on the M60, I presume that this means some poor person has had an accident but the Highways Dept dont think we can handle the truth.

Then when I got to Go Outdoors and parked up all the customers and staff duly trooped out past my car to the fire points.

I decided I had come a long way and to hang around to see if it was a false alarm.  It was but there was then some problem with the alarm system (I think) so the public could not be allowed back in the shop.

Luckily one of their staff, Ian, took pity on me and went and got my tent that they were kindly trying to repair for me.  I think this shop is great.

Yep I would say its go outdoors aswell not been open that long, also decathlon not that far or camperlands for that matter all in a straight run on the m60
