We bought a kingsize airbed from argos hoping that it would help us get a good night sleep, unfortunately the bed kept deflating. Argos have just replaced it and I am about to try out the new one, but wondered has anyone else experienced problems with airbeds.  I am beginning to wonder if we should have got camp beds instead.

No problems with the Coleman comfort airbed. You'll find many fans of them on this website.

We went camping at the weekend and our old airbed let us down in the night so we brought a coleman comfort great bed but we did find it hard to pull the valve out without using the external stopper (thinking if we was to pull this it would break )

bought double airbed from tesco, it started to deflate during the night, found out on testing that it was leaking very slowly from inflation hole,(sprayed it with washing up liquid) so I pushed the stopper in really hard and it stopped the problem, try it and see, its unusual to get a hole in the airbed ,unless you take it outside then anything can happen, bouncing brats don't help.

There should be a permanent thread on here about the Coleman Comfort! They are great! The Coleman company must have sold millions since this site went on line....

We have had a nightmare this last camping trip our airbed somehow managed to keep puncturing dont know how anyway on the 3rd attempt after sleeping on the floor again saw by a**e and went and bought an argos red and blue double airbed as we have had a single one for 10yrs with no probs so thought we would go with what we know it is canvas style material rather than plasticy so keep fingers crossed for next trip. We used the old one as a mat for a night or 2 in the living area then flung it, next day it had been moved from our bin area to another so some other camper must have tried it out to. lol

Hi Shellseeker, we to had the argos airbed but found it very uncomfortable and needed reinflating often. Found the Coleman Comfort Double Airbed here and it was highly recommended so bought one. Airbed is lovely and comfortable and stays inflated for ages. Best purchase by far.

Exactly !  Ratty !, Webby!!  Can we pin an Airbed thread.??

Coleman Comfort beds are far superior to other beds on market. I and my bad back recommends them!

We went away last weekend and our cheap airbed fully deflated in the night, not very pleasant waking up on the ground!!! So we took everybodies advice on here and bought a Coleman Comfort, wow, what a difference. They are so comfortable, we came home yesterday and I have backache from my own bed but I never had it on the Coleman! Worth every penny!

hi all

we had the same problem with the two double airbeds we bought one was from argos the other was a royal from local camping shop both went down slowly and we was about to buy new when we tried wrapping a little cling film around the rubber bungs that the screw caps hold in touch wood they have never gone down since and we have used them for 6 days without having to pump up again i think maybee the rubber bung is a little hard and doesnt make the seal correctly
