I have looked around for some time tryingto find a suitable day tent that we can cook in when wet and also use as a general sitting area in the evening. I have looked at the Outwell Oklahoma but decided that it is a little too small. The Royal standard day tent seems to fit the bill but I have one query. The adverts I have seen for this tent say that there are no covers for the mesh windows where the large dayroom does have window covers. Does this mean that there are no clear pvc covers to form an outer window or are the mesh windows totally exposed to the elements?

thanks

Nigel

I've got the Dayroom version - bit bigger, and the three window sides all have plastic zip covers that go over the mesh - kept the rain out at the weekend I can tell you, but equally nice and airy when rolled up and sun is shining - just be careful to take it down if it gets really windy - we didn't on Sunday whilst camping and came back to find it flat in a heap ON TOP of our tent .... not pleasant experience, and I'm now trying to find somewhere to buy replacement poles - the tent is fine, but the still poles aren't!!
