I'm looking for some bio degradable bin liners that will fit over my fixed cassette loo.
It's usually only used once (just a little tiddle) on first getting up in the morning.
We always wild camp and the emptying of the cassette is not always possible.
I will be using the cat litter in the bag to soak up liquid and then disposing of the bag responsibly after use.
Otherwise that one small 'wee' a day would make the loo smelly if not emptied.
Anyone know what sort of bag and size to use to fit over the loo bowl ?
Been using a BWL for that 'once a day' ritual with normal supermarket bags and cat litter. Would rather use a bio degradable bin liner. However have not been able to find the right size or supplier.

They are so expensive.
The so called 'poo powder' that they use is basically a posh version of cat litter with perfume !!
So really some cheap bags are a much more cost effective method. It's just trying to get the right bag !!

The bags I use are 46" around the rim and 23" x 30" they are made by www.degradable.net and I pay 99p for 15 at my local rainbow superstore. If that's any help.

Wag Bags and the Pett site is 'Down' and has been for the last couple of weeks. I am wanting to place an order, have e-mailed them but with no reply.
Sidick - see my post on the Wag bags thread - you can order them via www.epsgoggles.com (they are under leisure products).
Why should using the loo for it's designed purpose, with the correct fluid, make it smelly?
After a few weeks wild camping with no facility for emptying the cassette no fluid I am afraid would 'do the job' (pardon the pun !!
Thanks for the dimensions (46" around the rim and 23" x 30" )
I have not got a Rainbow near here and the website link was a pain to follow. So I have found a bag supplier near me and am going to try to get some of the dimensions posted by poppi. Am looking at the disposable cat litter tray liners and am emailing a supplier to get the measurements in English (feet and inches)
Cheers all
Brenda

Kleeneze supply biodgradable plastic bags. Cant remember how much for how many though. But everybody has a kleeneze lady.
Oh no they don't !!!!! Most we ever get here is the Jehovah Witnesses. I will try asking if they do biodegradeable plastic bags next time they call. Should make for a more interesting conversation than they usually try to have.
