planning for hols next year, will be away for 2 weeks at a time. Have great hanging rail in one of the bedrooms and additional room we will use for clothes which can all be zipped up out of view). I wondered what other people use in the living area as dont want everything on the floor (kids games, lamp, magazines, books etc etc.

We use those pop up baskets and we also have two fabric corner shelf units (3 shelves on each) which fold up flat for transporting, they only cost us £7.50 each from a shop in Oban last time we were away.

What about the collapsable hanging storage units.  Mesh fabric with a hole in each section for access (useful as they can be hung from celing - but probably wont take much weight)  very cheap from Ikea.

If you've got the space in your car or trailer, pre-packed drawer stacks - pack at home, carry out to car, carry into tent - voila!

Hartles - brilliant idea, it would also serve as a small table to put the wine box on.  I think I can catch a glimpse of yours from your photo gallery.  Where did you buy it from?

The drawers are available from argos , wilkinsons, poundstretcher. Someone on here said they used two sets of drawers for a kitchen, with a piece of board sat on top which they had cut a hole in to fit a washing up bowl in the middle. Great idea if you have room to transport it.

Hanging storage. Either shoe or sweater tidy that you can attach to a pole that'll give you 'shelves' or pocket storage designed as wardrobe tidies so the have a clothes hanger in the top which can be hooked to the loops where you attach your inner tent.

they have loads of hanging things in ikea. i use the pop up things for dirty washing and kids toys. also use storage boxes that fold flat. i have found putting clothes in a case is better or those vacuum sealy bags( that never seal )
