with the talk of Camping Gaz lamps being a bit dangerous with their ease of toppling over with animals and kids we struck lucky at a boot fair .
TWO almost "new" but elderly Camping Gaz standard or patio lamps ,both boxed and working perfectly .
heavy weight construction of steel and brass and not any of this tin "metal" we see now ,much brighter than any gas lamps i have seen to date ,every one that passed seeing it on remarked how good it was and where you could buy it!!
the bad side it uses the now obselete large pierceable cannister but useable by using two smaller ones one on top of the other
i did buy them to put on ebay but decided to keep both i was so impressed ,now to find two spare globes for the future but i fear they will all have long gone
its called merely a Lumostar ,and its 80watt output,great pic of old fashioned car on front of the box so i guess its late 60's????

We have one of those!   Never used it though!   My parents had a camping shop from the 50s to the 70s so we "inherited" a lot of stuff.  We have 30 year old Gaz refills in our shed!  Still in good condition!

The patio lamp we have, the glass is kind of narrow/straight rather than the "globe" type.

yes its a larger version of the old type small gaz lamps glass not as you say the new "globe" (curved) ones.
check your cylinders bottoms for rust and spray with chrome or brass laquer to protect them for the future

cant find any globes anywhere the camping gaz lot pointed to their spares "keeper" who says they havent any

We used to have a Lumogaz lantern for the tent, with a straight sided cylinder globe. It developed a crack after one of our trips, and although I bought a new globe, continued to use the old (cracked) one with no problem for ages. I bet lots of folk could help out with a globe they no longer need. It might be worth measuring it and posting here, before you break a globe and have to glue it back together to measure it!! Oh, I see you have 2
