Not sure which is the best, as I have not tried them all.

I have a Vango one curerntly which is OK. The main thing with them, IMHO, is that you get what you pay for with SIMs.

I tried some cheap ones and they were horrid, tried the dream-thingy from Thermarest and would have stayed sleep in the shop for a week!

Others swear on the Fat Arics, but I have yet to try one. So I would say generally, don't scrimp...

We have 5-6cm thermarest sim's and they are ok for a few nights, maybe a week, but not much longer. We are going to get the dreamtime xl's this year as they are much wider as well as thicker. Hope this helps.
