I have found a great web site to cut the cost of glasses which I definitely need now for driving. I`m always losing mine and it was costing me fortune. Not any more. I bought my new prescription glasses from Glasses Direct and they only cost me £15 + vat incl. p&p. They are guaranteed and have all the latest styles. They look OK, I always worry about fit with places like those though.
Glasses are a personal thing, and a badly fitting pair can be hell.

I've heard that the varifocal windscreens are quite brilliant !!

When  I went scuba diving I was worried because I wear contact lenses and had visions of getting lost under the ocean.  However they loaned me prescription goggles not perfect match but adequate for underwater.

I also have varifocal contact lenses. they are Brilliant.

But I also need a pair of glasses and resent paying hundreds of pounds for them so I will have a look at this website thanks Colin shep.

Also last time I went to the optician I got the prescription and then went round the corner to specsavers and told my optician what they would do them for and they matched it and gave me transitions lenses for no extra cost.
