The one with the grill?  Is it any good as it seems alot more money than regular stoves? Can you put the saucepan on top of the grill or do you have to swap between the two when grilling/heating up?

Any other advice re stoves appreciated!  Do you need the under grill or just better to get two ring?

We've got a two ring with grill but to be honest we don't use the grill very much, except for toast (which takes ages!). On ours you use the grill at the same time as the rings, its not campingaz model but one similar. I think we paid £35 for ours.

Hi Hevster, we got the Camping Gaz Camping Chef cooker. The cooker is excellent but the grill does take some time to brown toast etc but not impossible. The neat feature is that it folds away quiet flat and comes with its own carrying bag, very handy for those with limited carrying space. We paid £35 from Millets in Hitchin.

Have used ours twice so far as only spent one night in tent. The burners were excellent and as good as the gas hob I have. Did use the gril and didn't find it a problem but only toasted pre packed scotch pancakes under it. Cost £36 including bag.

Have brought a rack to do toast ontop of burner but have yet to use it. It only cost £2 so hasn't broke the bank it it's rubbish!

Grilled bacon sandwiches a delight.  I go with the previous poster that you will get faster cooking with a raised grid - turn the grid so that it is sitting high rather than sitting down in the grill pan.
