I had a problem with the Manhattan in that the scart wire came out upwards.
I managed to overcome this by reversing the metal block inside the black plastic (top to bottom) and a little carving with the craft knife allowed the case to close.
You may be able to do that to avoid the aerial.
Another thought is to use the phono sockets to a scart lead if available
And there's more

Seved my apprenticeship on Radar, so soldering not a problem. One thing though; All the scart plugs I have come across seem to have the cable coming out at 45 degrees. On my LCD TV, this causes the scart cable to foul the TV aerial cable.
Has anyone seen scart plugs thet allow the cable to come out at 90 degrees to the pins?
Bertie.
Hi Bertie
Just had a quick squiz on the internet and couldn find a 90 degree scart lead anywhere. the best I could come up with is a straight one. This would overcome your arial lead problem.
hope this helps
Mike
