Hello, we will be taking the caravan out in the next few weeks can anybody tell me if there is a suitable electric heater "convector/ oil filled/" or whatever that we will be able to use during the night as we have a 15 mnth old baby and as you know its freezing in the early hours, that wont trip the fuses on the hook up? what kind of wattage do sites usually take before tripping off? i want to use electric if poss as dont like the idea of leaving gas heaters running while we sleep, if you can idvize that would be a massive help

We use an oil filled radiator, cost £25 from Currys. We just leave it on the lowest setting. Keeps the van really warm.

I have both a fan heater, and an oil filled, but TBH, i prefer the oil filled, especially at night, as it doesnt make a load of noise coming on,

mines a delonghi bambino, 800W oilfilled, never had it above No4 in our van, and it has naff all insulation, Ill be saving the fan heater for the awning me thinks.
