We have a 15 mnth old baby daughter and havent got a clue where will be suitable for her to sleep in the van? last year we ended up carting a fold up travel cot with us but it was huge when erected and basically unsuitable, she is at an age where she climbs over things, has any one else been in this position and if so how did you solve it? i'm thinking of maybe converting one of the beds but havent got a clue.

Hi Hogle, my little boy was about 18 mths when we first took him away in the van, we found the easiest thing to do was to take the bed guard from home and use that on the bottom bunk. He has always been into climbing over things, but has never climbed over or fell out in the van, he's always that worn out he sleeps like a log.

hello,

we have taken our little boy away since he was 6 weeks, to start with we used to have the travel cot where the bottom bunk went, mind you he never slept in it, then when he got just over a year we put him on the bottom bunk with the bed guard, he loved it and never got out.  he also slept all night too ( felt very grown up in his own little sleeping bag like his big brother)

good luck and i hope it helps

julie
