Hi Phi & Ruth, we have the inflatable sofa and its just great. Really nice sitting in the tent watching the world go by on a comfy couch with a glass of wine.

My most used would have to be my Leatherman Crunch:

It has locking pilers that can match my expensive mole wrench (not bad when the Leatherman is considerably smaller) and I regularly use it as the more mobile half of the tool pair when working with compression joints. It also has one of the sharpest blades I've come across, it cut through thick roofing felt that I had trouble scoring with a decent quality fresh Stanley knife blade. It'll even strip wires and takes hex screw bits without an adapter. It doesn't seem to be available in the UK but I imported mine from the US about seven or eight years ago.

I'd also recommend a LED head torch, you might look a bit daft wearing one above ground but they make putting a tent up in the dark a lot easier. I picked mine up for a fiver from Alpkit:

Finally I'd recommend one of those grill plates you can place on top of most of the standard two hob camp cookers. Smaller than a large frying pan/grill and if you don't have the space/money for a Cadac a good alternative.

Two new gadgets turned up today:

Hand cranked portalable blender/ice crusher - should be ideal to make smoothies/margaritas while we are camping, and it all packs into the jug.

Light up water bottle top - no way I can forget to take a torch now.

both from REI in the US, very quick shipping, had them two days after ordering!
