Hi Hankmarvin, not got the N40I but got the older 520. Great piece of kit, easy to use. Im sure someone will be along soon with one of these. At least your blueface has gone.

I got the Navman F20i for Christmas and I'm delighted with it. I decided on the UK version and bought the French maps seperately as it goes down to house numbers , streets and postcodes rather than just the European main roads that you got with the Euro version. I dont have a problem with main roads. Its when you reach your destination town or city and start looking for addresses that I go wrong. I have been testing it out whenever I go anywhere and so far it hasnt gone wrong at all. I have also found the car parking button very useful. Its very easy to use and program and it takes no time at all to get to know it inside out. My next purchases will be the traffic module and the connectivity kit. I can really recommend the Navmans although I do think its a bit stingy that the connectivity kit and a mains lead dont come as standard with the unit.

I've got the Navman N20, which is essentially the N40 without the camera and, in my opinion it's a brilliant piece of kit.
Make sure though, that you update the Smart ST software level to SP2 when you get it.

I've no intention of driving to Europe (at the moment), so I haven't loaded the maps from the CD's yet. It's unlikely that you'll want the 'whole' of Europe though, so you'd probably get away with a 1gb card. I'd make sure that it was a high speed one though.
