Well while we're on the subject of new camping shops, theres a new one now open in Middlesbrough.
I am involved with it in a free capacity (remote family connecton) hence the free labour. (I also run the Ebay store (Platinum Leisure Supplies))
The location is :
Unit 1 Tyne Court, Wallis Rd, Skippers Lane Ind Est, TS6 6DT
Directions, from B+Q Skippers Lane Turn Left at Carshock into the trading estate.
Take the first left which takes you behind B+Q and then left again after 100yards.
You'll see the big orange sign, its the first unit on the left. The sign above says Platinum Horseboxes, dont let that put you off, funnily enough Barry the owner builds horseboxes as well.
Barry does motorhome and caravan servicing and repairs and runs the shop, prices are very reasonable and if theres anything you need and can't see or find he'll let you browse his trade catalogues.
He has been in business for almost 10 years now, but the shop was only recently opened. This is the first caravan shop in Middlesbrough for 15 years so please do your bit to try to keep this one open :-).
