We got our Cadac Carri Chef Delux in January for just over £100 inc postage (I think it was £104) from Hamilton Gas Products. They are on the internet; just do a google search for them.

Ours arrived with a badly dented lid but they despatched a replacement straight away.

I can't be bothered with the old charcoal and firelighters routine so I'm going to use it at home as well; just need some decent weather so that I can fire it up for the first time!!

ive got a really old cadac and it take for ever to cook anything are the new ones better?

Used it for the 1st time this weekend. Absolutely excellent. The grill is deceptively large. Food cooked extremely well and amazed at the heat output. Also easily to clean afterwards. My wife and I are delighted with it.

We got the cadac safari chef in halfords for £25 too!

Did you get yours at Kirkcaldy branch or do other branches have them too? Can't belive my luck, went in to get new roof bars and came out with the best bargain I've had in years!
