Worth trying garden centres for heat beads. Most sell BBQ's now so also stock the beads and charcoal. Also good places to look for the smoking chips.

Noticed our replacement grill plate had a more granular appearance than the original have not tried it yet as we are still using the original until such time we switch over.how have yuo got on with yours
