Hi all.

Bought one of these yesterday, mainly for the wifes benefit for camping when its cold. It will come in handy for our Dent meet next month. Does anyone else use one ???

Are they safe to use on an  airbed tho ??? 

Saying that - i like it to be a little bit cold so you can snuggle up and get warm 

I don't think tthat I would fancy the idea of 230vAC underneath me with all the damp that's about in tents.

I have tried the "search" feature but it doesn't seem to want to work for me. There are some electric blankets that work on a rechargable battery pack: Does anyone know who does them?

We have used 'normal' electric blankets in our frame tent.  We had an RCD, but I was still a bit concerned.  It was great!  I used to put blankets on 30 mins before going to bed, and left them on all night.  It was lovely and warm, and we had not problems at all.

hmm something not quite right there, i clicked the link and got a webcam! oh well not to worry we bought an electric blanket towards the end of last year.  so far it has remained in its packaging as it hasn't been cold enough to use it - yet anyway
