Hi
We have both an 'electric cool box' (about £40 from Halfords) and a bigger "fridge" fridge (three-way power), which was more expensive. There isn't much between them in terms of how cold they get, and the more expensive one isn't all that much bigger inside, but probably twice as big overall. We've had problems running the big one when in the car (on12v), whereas the cool box has been fine.
So, depends if you use electric on sites or not. I'd say if you do, just get one of the electric cool boxes. If you don't always use electric, then obviuosly you're going to need something that can run on gas. Of the three-way (i.e. gas / 12v / 240v) types I've seen, they all seem to be pretty much to the same design.
TT
