Can anyone recommend some towing mirrors for our Land Rover Defender?  the conventional car-type towing mirrors aren't suitable as Defenders have a much larger mirror.

I'm hoping someone on the forums have had the same problems and will be able to help!

We use Suck it and See mirrors on our Disco - they attach to the mirror glass itself with a strong sucker, so a large mirror housing is no problem.

Sherpa van.

There is a modest degree of parts commonality between Frieght Rover / LDV and Land Rover. Some of the Sherpa vans use the same mirror head & base as a Defender but the arm is longer.

http://www.plsgroup.co.uk/ They are yhe Importer for Smat-Nord. The Magnum XL used to fit very well,  I got a defender and it fitted my one, however being irresponsible  hardly used them, a defender with winch, 'A' Bar and a few dents towing a 21ft cvaravan and most stayed out my way.

Looks like a good site David - I have failed to find the Magnum XL though - hope they aren't discontinued!
