Hi Elaine
We've used our combicool in the tent on gas, I make sure there is ventilation, by lifting the side wall near the fridge a bit and keeping it up so there's air going in or out, only by a little bit and we dont get a draft, your tent hasn't a SIG so you would be ok, you do get a bit of warm air from the vent on the top so I just make sure its not right next to the wall and nothing can fall over the hole. we use the camping gas 907 bottle and keep it in the tent but you could put the bottle out side if it would make you feel better and just have the pipe coming in under the tent.
We've used our fridge like this for about 4 years and never had any problems just make sure you have ventilation and you could always buy a carbonmanoxide alarm if it would put your mind at rest.
Happy camping
