Hi

I have bought a Maplins solar powered trickle charger that has an output of 1.5W at 17.5V....

Does anyone know if these units any good?And do they genuinely keep your leisure battery in a good state of charge?

It's all very well going on about the wattage at 17 volts but what about at 12 volts???? 

In all honesty it will probably just maintain the battery when you are not using it.

Thats exactly what it does it maintains your batt for you when your vehicle is not in use which it is excellent for. Its no good as a solar panel to replace what you use on hols you will need a much biger panel for that

yeah i have one of these i use it to keeep my car starter fully charged you know them things with the jump leads allreay attached. its very handy :)
