I have a Lunar Clubman caravan, stored in SW France, which I must reluctantly sell. I would be grateful for any ideas regarding best means of advertising the 'van.
Thanks
Roland

I would imagine your best bet is to bring it home. How else can you arrange viewings? Is it still full of your personal belongings? Is all the paperwork with it or in the UK? We're considering a van or a small camper but would be a bit dubious about a van which is situated in the south of France.
Years ago Brits used to store a caravan in the S of F and bring them out on site when needed. People used to get to know each other and there was often a trade of older caravans being upgrade from those who no longer wanted theirs. Depends if where you store has that sort of community.
If its been stored a long time in France it would probably need a good service and maybe new tyres before attempting to tow it back to the UK. Depending on how much you think it is worth maybe better selling it in France?
Do you store on a campsite? If so, that is the best place to advertise it for sale. If not, maybe you could talk nicely to sites near your storage and ask whether they would put up a for sale advert for you. Otherwise, as mentioned previously, try contacting Kris and Alydia from Caravan Help Abroad, who I'm sure will help if they can.

There is a section of the Free Adverts above this forum, for caravans, which allows you to select France as the location. Try it on there to see what happens.
