After a break of several years due to the B thing and Covid we're going back to France this summer. A lot will have changed since we were last there but I'll cut to the chase.
Our dogs have a settled diet which suits them which comprises Turkey Mince, Rice, Veg, senior mixer and a little Chappie.
If I understand the rules correctly post Brexit I will not be allowed to take any animal derivitive products to France with me hence the dog diet will be a challenge!
I know I will be able to get Dinde mice in French supermarkets and I can probably get away with the mixer but I have no idea what the French equivalent of Chappie is?
SO 2 questions - 1. anyone have any idea what the french equivalent of chappie is
2. what are the chances we could 'smuggle' the odd tin through? ie how strictly do they apply these rules.
Many thanks

Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
Don’t concern yourself with what you can and can’t take.
We have always taken enough dog food for our two for the duration of our trip.
------------- XVI yes?
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
As above, however, be prepared in case POAOs are confiscated during a search.
I was not searched for both trips in 2023 and 2024 and my first stop after crossing the channel was a grocery stop for provisions and dog food if required.
