I need to change the return date of our next trip and the car we will be using. The app tells me that my booking can't be amended. I'm sure others have done this. Is it just a matter of ringing them, or can I do it some other way?

None of us know whether you have bought a flexi ticket or one with fixed conditions. So talk to customer service desk of the company or agency you bought from - and be prepared for the possibility of an amendment fee.- certainly that will be charged if booked through the Caravan and Motorhome Club. It is for eventualities like this that some people just book an outward ticket before going and then book the return on line when they are ready to come back.. I hope you can sort it.

It's a return via Newhaven /Dieppe, booked by phone to get the over 60s discount. I don't know what type of ticket that is, other than a return. I guess I shall have to ring them. I just wondered whether anyone else had changed their booking and could offer advice.

We have changed ours several times (several bookings not one booking changed multiple times) We weren't charged for amendments. One was to remove our cat from the booking (offered a cabin as they couldn't refund the money), other times we've changed dates (not charged) or times (not charged).

I would go ahead and make the call.,But I am pretty sure that if you are changing your booking to a more expensive time of day, or a more expensive day of travel, then there will be extra charges. Have a bank card ready.

Yes, phoned the number we booked through, and the lady who answers is always very helpful. But at Netherton says, if you change to a more expensive time or date there will be charges to pay.

Thank you. All sorted now. There was a charge of 1.30 euros, which is fine. Very helpful gentleman - Irish I think.
