Hi.
Going to the south of France next Yr beginning September. First time in about 7 yrs. So looking for recommendations for a site that has touring pitchs and statics/ chalets. Needs to have beach access and be close to a town/ village. Dont have any young kids so dont need the clubs but that's not to say we wouldn't use a family type site. Open to any suggestions Cheers and Tia.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!
It’s a 350 mile stretch of coast and we tried most of it, but our favourite was the little resort town of Cavalaire. There are half a dozen sites in and around the town and they all have a range of accommodation, plus Websites, photos and reviews which might help you.
As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.

We like Le Barcares we been a few times and stay at Campsite-Resort Le Floride & L'Embouchure the site is split on both sides the road on one side there is reception and all the facilities and on the other side it is mainly pitches some with private bathroom and mobile homes it’s 100 meters from the beach and about 10 minutes walk to the Restaurants etc

Personally the 350 pitches frightens me.
I thought I had reviewed this place in the past ........... So I have just done it now.
"As this was one of only 2 sites open in the area we didnt have much choice (Oct 2021). But glad we stayed. The pool area is to die for. But I can see it being a child screaming nightmare in the summer months. In the middle of October the fairground had packed up so we had 2 peaceful nights. Not much to do in the area as Bacares is pretty much shut for the season. 20 euro ACSI rate, no security deposit taken."
