Can anyone help or advise me if there is anything we need to know as to whether our grandchildren can travel to France with us and without their parents? We will meet the parents at the final destination.
Just wondering if we need any kind of documentation etc. They have their own passports.
Thank you in advance.
Don't forget to leave a review of the French and other European campsites you have visited!

How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
A letter from the parents outlining all plans, names, places your staying when they are meeting you and more importantly they give permission. We took our granddaughter two years ago when she was 9. Son flew out with younger one 5 days later. Nobody asked for any documentation.

I read about a mum travelling with her own children, dad not with them, children had their own passports but mum had not changed her name on marriage. So the childrens (fathers) names on the passport did not match hers & she was accused of trafficking or kidnapping or whatever similar.
You need what is called a letter of permission with specific information in it:

I think the post office website has something similar.
Apologies for strange symbols, this happens when I edit a post on the iPhone.

Seems to be quite a bit less info required according to the .gov website.

Just putting what we did.
Gov site says
The letter should include the other person’s contact details and details about the trip.
So same as I said but less detailed
